Dos personas recorriendo un cafetal en San Juan Sur de Poás
Our Story

The coffee that carries our father's name

Kàpi Yë́ means "Dad's Coffee" in Bribri. The name honors the knowledge passed down through the Murillo family.

Tres personas entre los cafetos de la finca

For around 50 years, Don Lalo Murillo—as he was known in the community—was a coffee producer in San Juan Sur de Poás. Over the years, he passed each lesson and his working tools to his youngest son, Graciliano Murillo.

Among that inheritance was a 1973 Massey Ferguson 135 tractor. Today Don Graci continues working the farm with passion and dedication to produce the coffee offered by Kàpi Yë́.

Our brand mark represents the tractor that transports the coffee harvested on the farm. The name Kàpi Yë́—"Dad's Coffee"—honors the family legacy behind every harvest.
